Public Observing Sessions and Outreach Events

One important function of the astronomy club is sharing our interest with kids young and old. We do this through public observing sessions and smaller outreach events.

Raleigh Astronomy Club public observing sessions are typically free of charge and open to the public of all ages (except where otherwise noted). Please always remember to check back on the day of the observing session for an event status as poor weather conditions may result in cancellation of the session. It's not just rain, but clouds can force us to cancel. A list of upcoming events is below. New events will be added as they are scheduled.
