RACOBS:
RACOBS, or Raleigh Astronomy Club Observing Session is a monthly planned observing session for club members. Non-members are invited to join with the knowledge this is not considered an outreach night. To attend, please email the club for directions and instructions.

Public Observing Nights:
Public nights are always fun. Club members come out with our telescopes and provide all our guests a tour of the night sky. These events are typically free and a great way to hang with astronomers.

Star Parties:
Astronomers gather at events called Star Parties. Think of it as a big campout. These events happen year round across the US with a few events close enough to be local for us in Raleigh, NC. Find out where local astronomers go for darker skies! Note that Star Parties are not typically free, but some do offer a free public night or visitation during the day.
