The regular indoor meeting on April 10 featured a great presentation from Matthew Goodson from the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Physics and Astronomy speaking on the formation of the Solar System. Matthew talked about the process for forming the solar system and about some of the work they are doing on this at UNC-Chapel Hill.

This is one of the meetings we planned to stream to members who could not attend, but we had some technical problems with the process. We apologize to all those who tried to watch this session online. We are working to address these and should have everything fixed for suture session. In addition to the presentation, there were nominations for the 2014-2015 officer positions. There are still opportunities for members to run for club officer positions. It’s not that difficult a job and is very rewarding!!
