Statewide Star Party – Part of the NC Science Festival – 4/4 – 4/5
This will take place on April 4th and April 5th. This is Friday and Saturday respectively. The website for the NC Science Festival Star Party is www.ncsciencefestival.org/special-opportunities/starparty/.
The club is committed to three locations.
4/4/2014 – The first location is the NCMNS Prairie Ridge Eco Station. This will be from 7pm to 10:00pm. Doug Lively is the contact for this location. NCSU Club may join as well.
4/4/2014 – The second location is the Annie Wilkerson Nature Preserve. This is located in North Raleigh and will be from 8pm to 10:00pm as well. Ian Hewitt is the contact for this location.
4/5/2014 – The last event is called Howell Woodstock and it is located at Howell Woods. The event is from 1pm – 11:30pm. There will be solar observing during the day and observing in the evening also. Brian Reasor is the contact for this location.
Boy Scout Camporee 4/25/2014 7pm – 11pm

Girl Scouts 4/26 – 4/27
This is located in Johnston County and Clay Coor is coordinating. Astronomers can camp near the telescopes. Mobile Observatories are welcome. Signup on Survey Monkey Link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RKFCJL9

Exploring Term Limits for Officers
A committee will be formed to iron out the details. As a starting point of discussion, considering a three year limit for all officer positions.
