Michel Tournay is always a good presenter and has presented to the club before. He travels to many exotic places capturing eclipses. In addition to capturing the eclipse, he will also capture the interesting aspects of the place. This presentation was no exception.
The trip started from Russia on an ice breaker ship. The goal of the trip was to see a solar eclipse that was happening near the North Pole. He had photos of the ship and a polar bear. He also had some video shots. In addition to the trip, Michel put in some explanation of ice breaker technology, global warming and traveling around the world in seconds (by going around the North Pole).
This was a great presentation. There were a lot of questions and I think that everyone learned a lot.
