During the November 2011 Indoor Meeting, there were two very special awards presented to Mark and Phyllis Lang for their many years of dedicated service to the Raleigh Astronomy Club.
Both Mark and Phyllis have served in both Elected officer and Staff officer roles in the Raleigh Astronomy Club for many years.
Phyllis has served as a Co-Chair, the Astronomical League Coordinator,and as Assistant Editor for the newsletter. Mark has served in every Elected officer position and as the Newsletter editor for over 20 years continuously. They have both recently handled over their responsibilities to other members after a job well done!
The Raleigh Astronomy Club wants to recognize their dedication to both astronomy and astronomy education!!
