Topic: Space Weather Prediction:
Dedicated forecasters at NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center in Boulder, CO work 24/7 to protect aviation, the nation’s power grid, the nations power grid, and space assets from communicationssatellites to astronauts in orbit. They also give us the heads up on when we might be able to see an Aurora. We’ll learn more about what they do and read the products they produce each day.

The observing committee is looking for volunteers to coordinate events and assist at events with or without a telescope. To join the committee, send a blank email to [email protected].
