NC Museum of Art

Date: May 24 (Thursday night)
Time: They’ve requested 8:30-11, but the event actually starts at 6:30.
Location: NC Art Museum (2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607)
Expected Crowd: ~1200 (600-700 after dark)
I do believe this is a fundraiser/ticketed event for the museum, as we’ve done in the past.

We’ll be set up by the amphitheater (around the “S” in the picture, attached). This is different than our usual spot. I’m getting clarification about getting equipment to the spot.

More Info:
The event is on Thursday, May 24th and is called “Space is the Place.” It is one of four Night Brights out in our Museum Park that we are holding in conjunction with a super cool interactive projection show put on by Austrian artists OMAi – these events are for the public to interact with their original digital illustration and animation app called Tagtool. Each Night Bright will have food trucks, art-making, performances and a specific theme. Obviously, we need to do something with stargazing and sky-viewing for this space one!

For 5/24 it looks like we will have a bright waxing gibbous moon, Jupiter, and a little bit of Venus until ~9:00pm. Sunset is 8:20pm.

Bookings are closed for this event.
